A Gay Erotic Drama
Thirty-year-old hospital worker Cameron Lewis is at a loose end—devastatingly handsome, but living in a remote Devonshire village has its set-backs. Since a messy break-up with his lover Ted, five years ago, there has been just one casual sexual encounter after another, mostly pick-ups at the gym where he trains. His life changes dramatically when he gets new neighbours—Hungarian studs Lucas and Stefan, who claim to be brothers, though this is soon proved not to be so. Cameron and long-distance lorry driver Lucas hit it off at once, and so soon in his relationship, he believes that Lucas is the one. Then their world is turned upside-down when Cameron sees a body-bag being wheeled out of next door. He is so besotted with Lucas that when Lucas goes on the run—taking his lorry to Calais—he accompanies him, no questions asked.
More drama ensues. When Lucas mysteriously disapppears, Cameron seeks solace in the arms of Damien, the dishy stud who runs a gymnasium in town but works part-time at the hotel where Cameron and Lucas were staying—and who, it turns out, has enjoyed a romantic liaison with Lucas in the past. Cameron is about to return to England when a British detective, DS Haseltine, arrives in Calais and has Cameron arrested on suspicion of aiding a killer—Lucas—to evade the law.
Interrogated by Haseltine and his French counterpart, beefy gendarme Pierre Duclos, Cameron is held in a police cell until Haseltine has arranged to take him back to England. Before this can happen, Haseltine is found dead in a local gay cruising spot and Damien is attacked at his home—with Pierre drawing the conclusion that Cameron’s life is also in danger. Thus he springs him from custody, and secretes him to his coastal home.
As happened with Damien, Cameron and Pierre become lovers while Pierre tries to unravel the mystery of what happened to Lucas. Will he succeed in his mission—and will Cameron ever see his beloved Lucas again? To reveal more about Joey Jenkinson’s latest profoundly erotic drama would of course only spoil the fun!
